FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ manufactures one of the highest quality drapes available on the market today.

Our specialty is in providing highly durable and long lasting products. Therefore, we carefully select every component we use in making our draperies. For example, all of our fabric is first quality goods. We never use seconds or shoddy material. Factory Direct Drapes™ uses "steel" plated pins/ hooks at the top of the drape, the strongest and most cleanable crinoline or stiffener in the headings, and super strong "sun resistant" thread so that your drapes last longer.

Remember, at FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ you can be assured of high quality, great service, and the same factory direct wholesale prices- just like the discount savings the retail stores and interior decorators receive from us!

Shipping

Unless otherwise specified, all shipping from Factory Direct Drapes™ is through UPS (United Parcel Service). They generally provide very fast and efficient service. Delivery times usually range from two to five days from the date your order actually leaves our factory. Typical "In Stock" products and fabrics will take from 7-10 business to manufacture and/or ship. "Special Order" and "Back Order" products and fabrics will take from 3-6 weeks to manufacture and/or ship.

Your shipping location is an important factor in how long it will take for your order to arrive. It is difficult to guarantee delivery or an exact day. However, if you do need your drapes delivered even faster, you can request and pay for alternate rush delivery options. Please see UPS's website for a detailed description of each shipping of various shipping option terms and conditions.

Your drapes from Factory Direct Drapes™ arrive poly bagged to keep them fresh and clean; on a drape hanger in case you need to store them temporarily; and will be pinned with steel hooks and ready to hang.

For shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, please add 20% of your product cost to cover the additional freight expenses. Express shipments are not available to Alaska or Hawaii. We do not offer shipping outside the United States, or to APO/FPO addresses, Guam or Puerto Rico.

The shipping charges for items that cannot be shipped via UPS due to size restrictions will be quoted on an order by order basis.

Sales Tax

Any order being shipped within the State of California where FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ is located will be required to pay 8.75% sales tax.

Orders shipped outside of California, do not have to pay California State sales tax.

Payment

All orders with Factory Direct Drapes™ will start as soon as the order is paid. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ also accepts checks. Personal checks will delay us from starting your order until your check has cleared the bank (i.e. usually 10 days). If you want to expedite your order with a check, we suggest using either a cashiers check or money order. This is like paying with cash by eliminating any holding delays by the bank.

Lifetime Warranty - Forever!

A) The warranty

FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ delivers a "Lifetime Warranty" that guarantees your drape will be free from defects due to faulty workmanship or materials forever. Rest assured, Factory Direct Drapes™ stands behind our famous and very popular drapes. This is one of the reasons why we have thousands of satisfied customers.

B) Our obligation to you

When Factory Direct Drapes™ receives a claim covered by this warranty, we will at no extra charge to you, either repair or replace, any drape found to be defective as a result of poor workmanship or materials; and Factory Direct Drapes™ will pay for the shipping of the product back to you anywhere in the Continental United States.

C) Warranty limits

FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ Lifetime Warranty does not apply to any drapery or parts thereof which fail due to accident, damage, alteration, improper use, abuse, neglect, normal color fading due to sunlight, exposure to harsh or severe conditions, or failure to follow FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ instructions for measuring, installing, cleaning, or operating this product. This warranty applies to the original customer/installation with proof of purchase, provided that the product is measured and installed according to the product instructions.

Color Variations

FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ makes every attempt to portray and show our drape fabric to you as accurately as possible. There are inevitably, however, periodic variations in color and hue based on individual computer monitors; dye lot variations in the material; as well as subtleties and shading in patterns, textures, and coloration that are difficult to fully grasp in a photograph.

For most customers, the computer image of our fabrics has been sufficient to make their purchase. Because all of our drapes are custom made, they cannot be returned if a slight color variation occurs. If it is needed, you may request a sample of the material before we manufacture your order with us. But, also remember that even the sample swatch and the drape product you receive may vary in dye lots.

Normal/Natural Fabric Imperfections

Although FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ only selects the finest first quality fabrics, there are normal slight blemishes, imperfections, slubs, nubs, weave variations and dye lot changes in drapery materials that are all considered normal . Such imperfections are a normal part of the weave and fabric and should not be seen as unusual. These normal variations cannot be returned, repaired, or exchanged.

Cleaning

FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ recommends that draperies should be cleaned as seldom as possible; with dusting or vacuuming done on an as needed basis. Frequent or repeated cleanings may remove some of the "life" from a drape eventually yielding a limpness to the material. Some drapes fabrics are also washable. But, dry cleaning is the preferred method for cleaning since it is less harsh and more gentle than washing.

FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ recommends using dry cleaners that specialize in cleaning draperies. They will be best equipped to minimize shrinkage, gently handle, and deal with drape cleaning. But, of course, FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ is not responsible for dry cleaning or it's results since we cannot control their cleaning process, temperatures, equipment, etc.

Returns and Exchanges

Because Factory Direct Drapes™ manufactures all of our drapes custom made individually and with the specific measurements of the window(s) in your home (which are often unique), our products are not returnable except under the provisions in our Lifetime Warranty and in accordance with the restrictions outlined above as described under "Normal and Natural Fabric Imperfections".

However, should you make a measurement error, Factory Direct Drapes™ , may repair (not refund), when possible, your measurement error to the new size you need. In such instances, the customer would pay for the shipping both to and from our factory and the cost to repair your drapes to the proper size .Orders cannot be canceled or changed once production has begun.

Errors and Omissions

While FACTORY DIRECT DRAPES™ has tried very hard to ensure the accuracy of the product information on our site, we are not responsible for typographical errors or technical inaccuracies.

Factory Direct Drapes™ disclaims liability for misprints, incomplete, stale or otherwise inaccurate pricing distributed or provided by other parties or web sites including, but, not limited to shopping, search or comparison engines or similar entities on web sites other than www.factorydirectdrapes.com. In the event that another entity provides inaccurate pricing for any reason, Factory Direct Drapes™ price listed at www.factorydirectdrapes.com at the time of order will prevail. Further, Factory Direct Drapes™ reserves the right to change its prices at any time without notice.
